Beefbooster maternal bulls are genetically unrelated. By crossing them, you can increase hybrid vigor and enhance reproduction and lifetime productivity. In fact, maximum hybrid vigor can increase lifetime production by as much as 25%.
These moderate, intermediate framed bulls are developed from an Angus base. The primary objective measurement for selection is weaning weight with emphasis put on mothering ability and sound udders.
The Beefbooster selection standards are so rigorous that only 20 – 25% of Beefbooster bull calves qualify as seedstock. We test the performance of every animal to determine its genetic merit, both on the ranch at pre-weaning, and at the test station during post-weaning.
