The ideal match for cows primarily of Gelbvieh, Angus or Limousin stock
This strain was developed primarily from a Hereford base. It is selected the same as an M1 bull. Lifetime productivity of the dams is another important factor used to select bulls in the maternal strains.
The most demanding selection process
The Beefbooster selection standards are so rigorous that only 20 – 25% of Beefbooster bull calves qualify as seedstock. We test the performance of every animal to determine its genetic merit, both on the ranch at pre-weaning, and at the test station during post-weaning.
